Richard S –
Great boots. Waterproof, casual, or dressy.
Bob S –
Excellent quality and great service
Kediel M –
I owned a pair of chelsea boots from Express a while back that I probably chose a size too big. Nonetheless I can still feel the quality difference from J&M, comfort is great, and my feet don’t sweat in the summer! Looking like a million bucks everyday I wear my boots.

My husband loves these boots..very comfortable. And waterproof is an added bonus. We’ve noticed they seem to scuff very easily. What should they be treated with to prevent the scuffing?

Out of the box they fit well, maybe just a bit tight but I have had a pair of these before and once worn they broke in nicely.
John O –
Nice shoe
Michael B –
By far one of the best Chelsea boots. They are very stylish and elegant looking without being too flashy, while having the comfort of a tennis shoe. They are almost so nice I am afraid to wear them, but luckily they are durable and waterproof.
RICHARD K –
I wish you made it in wide width!
KEITH K –
Really nice
Ronald K –
Great boots…looks and comfort are great
Clifford L –
Too tight to even get my foot in at the opening
Craig L –
Got this because of heel spur. Few shoes that can address a heel spur look this good. Excellent shoes!
Mary H –
Bought these boots in brown because I already have them in black and I wear for both work and casual wear. Very comfortable and I like that they are waterproof.
Robert A –
Nice boot, better than expected

Bought for my son who works at a winter resort hotel. He is outdoors often in snowy weather and the shoes wear well. He says they are comfortable
Steve E –
Second place of XC4 Chelsea. Comfortable, stylish, great quality. Wearable right out of the box.

I’m a size 9.5-10, medium width, depending on the shoe. I tried a size 10 at J&M store and due to the slightly pointy design of the shoe, it felt too big, long and roomy at the tip. I tried 9.5 and though it fit better it felt tight. I was willing to give it a try (thinking the leather will stretch) and purchased the Tan Oiled Full Grain colored pair. I walked around the house in them for few days, the leather stretched and became softer but the tightness did not go away. I didn’t want to remove the in-soles as suggested by the store to make them roomier because I feel I’d be loosing the support at the bottom of my feet and wouldn’t experience the shoe as intended. The boots hug and conform to your foot. My feet also have a slightly high arch and maybe causing the tightness. The boots are very attractive looking but unfortunately they didn’t work out for me and had to return them. The boots feel like a high rise shoe or a low rise boot. I loved the boots all around, high quality and great looks, and would highly recommend them.

Seems to be a very confortable boot. Too narrow though. Material is good and very stylish.

This is my second pair of these boots. I bought my first (similar version, not exactly the same) about 4 years ago and wore them almost every day from Sept – April. I am replacing because I wore them out from frequent use, which is to be expected. The only thing I would note here is that if you have narrow feet like I do, you are likely going to want 1/2 to 1 full size down. I am typically a size 9.5-10, except for these boots in which I am a 9. This is the only size 9 shoe I own, but it fits my narrow feet perfectly.

Short toe box and narrow toe.

Great size and fit and SUPER comfortable. Worth every penny, highly recommend.
Gary –
Toes were too narrow. Did wrap the top of my foot like a lace-up boot or shoe would.
Rick –
These shoes aren’t what I expected. They appear cheaply made. I can’t believe they were represented as Johnson and Murphy shoes!

I’ve been wearing these for just over a week now – having replaced a similar pair that are 11-years-old and going strong, but LOOK like I’ve been wearing them in the office, garage, lawn, and grill-side the whole time…which I have. This new pair will take some breaking in – there’s some unavoidable rubbing at my Achilles, a slight pressure point on the top of my right foot near the outer edge – but all that is just being a new pair of shoes. I can tell these are going to be just as comfortable once broken-in, and I’m hoping they last as long; they seem well-constructed. The stretch panel is tight enough to keep my heel from rising or rubbing, but not so tight as to compromise comfort. Good arch support and a some additional bracing alongside the inner arch. The style is clean – no wonky piping or ornamentation – just some subtle stitch work. All-around good, versatile boot. I can wear them for a long country walk with jeans and a t-shirt or in the office with khakis and a blazer; they work.
