The shoes are very comfortable and great for me since I have to walk a lot in them.

Compared to my Merrel outdoor shoes, these seem to be a bit tighter in the toes and maybe a hair not as long than I’d expect. I’m normally a 12w, and that’s what I bought, but they seem more like an 11.5d, but I’ll be returning these for 13 w’s hoping they’re more like a 12 w.
Otherwise, they look great, have a nice shine, look like they’d take polish well, have a comfy cushion, and the soles seem to be just grippy enough.

Ordered these in a 14W.Fine shoe but does not feel like a wide. I have a pair of Johnston & Murphy Larsey Cap Toe and they fit well in a 14W at the toe.These don’t. The toe box is much narrower. I am returning them.

This 12W is narrower than other J&M 12W I own, and I am returning it. The shoe looks nice and I can tell it would have nice support for flat feet.

I really wanted to like this shoe. However, as other have said it feels shallower than it should resulting in a downward squeezing of your foot. Secondly, the back of the shoe dug into my Achilles tendon. Even after wearing them for months, I had to use moleskin to prevent pain. Lastly, spending all day walking around in these shoes resulted in several blisters on the bottom of my feet as well as painfully squeezed toes and, of course, a painful Achilles. I wrongly assumed they would break in. But after several business trips these are going in the trash.

I’ve tried other brands and the Johnston & Murphy is a cut above most other shoe offerings.
The customer service at Zappos is absolutely outstanding and

These are very nice shoes. They are a little more narrow and i could feel it in my pinky toes the first day but it is stretching out a little more now. The soles are very comfortable and i can stay on my feet longer with these.

Usually wear 9 shoe. Ordered a 9w and a 9.5w. The 9.5 wide fit because they run a little short and the wide made the narrow design and rise fit more comfortably. As usual, Zappos is amazing and free return made it possible to try both sizes. Very quick delivery and easy returns.

Sharp looking shoe, excellent quality, very comfortable. Slightly rolled edge along the ankle opening and the flexible “hinge” ensures it doesn’t cut into your ankle like many shoes do. Definitely runs narrow! I am normally a 12M. The 13M fit me width-wise, but it was too long. The 12M was very tight. 12W fit perfectly. Avoid multiple orders/returns by just ordering your normal length in a wide (assuming you’re a medium). If you have a wide foot to begin with, look elsewhere.

I really want to like this shoe and I do but not for long. I’ve owned two pairs and both have lasted exactly 12 months before the sole wears out. I work a normal office job and sit at a desk the majority of the day…walk to and from the parking garage and that’s about it. Both pairs have worn a hole in the heel within a year. The rubber sole is what makes them more comfortable than most dress shoes but I’ve never had this issue with any other shoe. The outer is very soft and flexible but also scratches easily. I can’t bring myself to pay for another pair even though I’d really like them for being so comfortable.
