I love these boots. It’s a funky mix, but I love them. Stylish wingtip toes (I wear them to work as a physician), but they lace up like work boots (great ankle support), and Vibram-type soles (they don’t slip on the ice). Thank you, Johnston & Murphy, for not switching all your boots to zip-up boots. Please don’t stop making this non-zip boot.

Had a very similar style I picked up back in 2016 that lasted until this spring. They were my go to for office work in the fall/winter, dinner & drinks or going out with friends. These look & feel like they’re made to last as well, with the added bonus of a more comfortable sole. Very excited to wear these the next few years.

Within a week of buying the Cody boot in both colors the laces started to fray and broke. It happened on both pairs and in each boot. Customer service was horrible about sending me replacements and when they did, they were the wrong laces and length. I went to the store I bought them at and the manager was rude and told me they could not help me. They directed me to customer service which I had already contacted and received the wrong replacement laces. When I informed her of that she said “then there’s nothing we’re going to do. You should just buy laces in your own.” I’ve liked J & M for over 30 years but will never buy another pair again after this poor customer service experience. There are many more other companies who can do better.

I’ve been wanting to buy a pair of these for a while. Finally did and I want to get another. These boots are super comfortable and look great with all my jeans. I’ve tried other brands before and they have been really bulky since I am a size 13. These great comfortable boots.

Purchased as a gift for my son. The first pair we ordered seemed to run 1/2 size large. I returned those and purchased another smaller pair. These fit well and comfortably right out of the box. The return process was seamless, and the quick turnaround on shipping time for replacement was much appreciated as he was visiting for a short period of time.
