I previously purchased a different style of Dickies’ pants with a button front closure for my daughter and she’s always had trouble with the big button for some reason (she has no issues with shirt buttons). I bought these when she needed a bigger size and was very happy to see they have the standard dress pant ‘hook and loop’ closure in addition to the button shown. These are so much easier for my daughter to get off and on and I don’t have to worry about her stretching out the elastic by just pulling them up and down! The only downside is that they seem to wrinkle more easily than the other pairs of Dickies we have, but the original crease has stayed through 4 months of washing. Once they’re smoothed and hung up wrinkles aren’t an issue at all.

Although these are well made and good quality. They are super short and got even shorter when washed using instructions on the lable. Very disappointed because they are a perfect fit if you don’t look down at the length. My daughter cannot wear these for school. I even tried to let down the hem and they are still at least 2″ or 3″ too short. The reviews I read said they run too long. That’s why I bought them.

My daughter is very slim through the hips and legs. I had her try on one pair before washing and while they were a little baggy around the hips, they were long enough – always a big issue when getting pants for her. I expected them to shrink some in the wash, but after washing they are still baggy around the hips and the length shrank by over an inch! Now they’re too short and I’m back to more casual khaki pant style uniform pant simply because they have a long enough length. Two stars because they are a nice looking formal pant with thicker material – assuming they actually fit.

I bought a size 14 for my granddaughter entering 7th grade. After one wash, the length was perfect. We did need to purchase a belt for the waist was slightly big.
I am very happy with the quality.

They were ok. Size 14 were too short for my daughter and size 16 were too big. My daughter has long legs and is slim so finding uniform pants for her is difficult at times
