I have purchased these pants 2 times. The first time I received them, I assumed there had been a mistake with quality control and the amount and placement of the belt loops. I normally purchase regular 874 pants which have 12 belt loops with 8 in the back and 4 evenly spaced in the front. The 874 FLEX pants have only 9 belt loops with 7 in the back and only 2 in the front and the spacing leaves at least 12-13 inches between the loops. This causes my belt buckle to ride up or down when wearing these pants and doing my normal work during the day. This makes me FEEL unprofessional and I am always worrying about where my belt is. The second time I ordered these pants I found the same problem. I ended up returning the pants as they don’t fit my needs. If you wear a belt, make sure you keep a watch on your belt line.
In the attached photo, at the top are the standard 874 pants with 4 loops evenly spaced in the front. The bottom 2 pairs are the flex pants with only 1 loop on each side and the spacing is awkward to say the least.

I normally buy the 874 original dickies pants but I decided to see what this FLEX option was all about. I sure am glad I did. These pants are very comfortable and if you do alot of bending down, they flex more then the original 874 pants. The waist line is also more of a flex fit. FLEX has a more dress pants appeal. My new favorite type of dickies pants.

These pants never fail. Although they use to be $10 cheaper they’re still a decent price, the stretch gives mobility and they’re durable.

I have nothing to complain about these pants. Fit nicely, very comfortable, on those hot days does cling to your skin. Only thing bad thing I have is the inseam. I wish they had shorter length.

Great, classic Dickies with better tech built into the fabric. While these are great pants I ended up going with their Tough Max Duck Double Knee Pants as they better suited my needs. Both options are great for the workforce.
